I second that emotion ! This flow of classic period, high quality
Peel shows is better than any Christmas present I'll EVER get (unless
I marry a rich lady).
So poignant to hear John play "Shadowplay" in the July 79 show -
he then highly recommends the 'new' album, "Unknown Pleasures".
Also, he breaks off the show for a newsflash - parliament has
voted against the death penalty ! So not all Thatcher's minions
were of the "hang 'em, flog 'em" brigade ........
