hi
 anyone catch the C4 prog last night
in which the man is quoted direct from the book
including a shot of the cover
a bit about playing stuff despite what the management
and or convention tries to impose
prog called 'FM' part of Comedy Lab
an indie radio show team resists corporate take-over
hold up in the studio etc.

earlier this year John Peel, the famous gynaecologist
died aged 101
it gave me pause for thought

there was a one-hit wonder Top 50 show last week 
Who let the dogs out?
Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps please
were in  but i felt that Peelie was largely
instrumental in making these songs into hits
of this no mention others taking credit
so many candidates for this list
