Unless you were Stateside, you might have missed a large picture of 
the lead singer from the rock group The Fall in the New York Times 
weekend section last month. The picture is either proud or dopey or 
brilliant or worrisome or dumb or scary, or all, or none, depending 
on the state of your current allegiance, if any, to the rock band The 
Fall.
