yeah, that's more than fair. I just saw Laura, Snares & Jawbone as the
current/new half of the bill compared with SFA/New Order/Misty In
Roots/Fall.. I guess they're also constricted a bit by which artists
from overseas are around in UK (or just Europe) for that date.
Hopefully the 'TBC's will be a couple of fresh young pups, would
definitely be nice..

was also thinking the same about the dancey (of all forms) quotient on
that Peel cd too - 'Chime', and...um...? I've associated the man's
shows with it as much as the cd's guitar-based stuff since I started
listening in the mid 90s, even if I've not liked it all. A little
third 'high annoyance factor' cd of various things would've topped it
off nicely and be just as representative. Actually while we're at it,
the One Music producers ought to be able to choose more tracks of
their own for the shows, the ones last night were the best on the show
imho..

lack of Genesis/Oldfield on that cd too - some 'credible'
editorialising going on there: where's the Quo's "Down Down"?!? Peel's
turning in his grave as we speak (um, possibly).

but anyway..
