I can recommend everyone checks out Reveal Records - they won the best UK Independent Retailer at the Music Week Awards (beating off the likes of Selectadisc & Rough Trade�so that gives you an idea of how good they are!)

Based in the glorious city of Derby (er..) they do a weekly mailout that covers all bases - indie/folk/dance/hip-hop/americana/jazz/avant-garde/metal etc- the manager has assembled a great bunch of staff who are all complete music-lovers that specialise in these different genres - the mailout goes through all the new releases for the week and gives you a detailed run-down of it all..needless to say they do a great mail order service (with great prices too)
