yeah - not pedantic at all, "fades in..." is how i remember it

the song choices look like they were made with commercial targets in 
mind - fair enough, but howabout having a 2nd collection with tracks 
that we knew he really loved (maybe loosely based on the record box, 
like the John Lennon jukebox effort)but which the casual observer 
may not have heard,  and even a 3rd made up of played once never 
heard again records (which would reflect the average show content 
better than the tribute cd)

apologies if youve heard me ranting the above somewhere else btw!

is it too late to say that he didn't think much of the idea of 
having a festival stage named after him? i'll have to find the tape 
to quote directly, but something along the lines of the idea being 
ludicrous (and I got the impression he wasn't just trying to be 
modest)
