I have a recording of Peel saying (something like) that "at times when
he should be humming the latest New Order tune, he finds himself singing
the words to Sheena Easton's 9 to 5". He then referred to her as a Pop
Queen for the 80's. Apart from the dodgy lyrics, it is a great pop
song, short, punchy, with a good hook. I for one think he was right.
