Surely he must mean "Searching for the only one" by the Frantic Elevators - 
the nearest Mick Hucknell ever got to singing soul and a classic 70s 7".

Although weren't Simply Red involved in (at least the funding of) the Blood & 
Fire dub reissue label - this at least confers a footnote in the history of 
great music on them!
