Yes, our Tom did come over from Atlanta Georgia and accompanied me to the
cathedral, where I made a bit of a faux pas.
Whilst waiting for the service to start (we were probably in cathedral a
good 1 hours before the service commenced). We were sitting at the end of
an aisle and Paul Gambaccini came up and spoke over us to a couple of his
BBC colleagues, who were sitting behind us and further along. He then
asked them some obscure music question (he was probably nervous and
polishing up his eulogy). Knowing that he was one of the contributors to
the Guiness books on music, I quipped "you of all people should know that
one". The look of contempt on his face will be with me for years.

Tom's the taller one at the front and I'm the one fiddling with a camera,
the guy who's partial head you can see behind me, is a friend of John's
who used to run a club which John used to DJ for and best man at his
wedding.
Somewhere behind us, is Jarvis Cocker. Pic 38 is our favourite DJ from The
Netherlands.
