Didn't Morrison refuse to appear at the Lonnie Donegan "Peel Sessions
Live" gig in London a few years back because Half Man, Half Biscuit were
supporting? I recall Peel saying on air that they'd tried to get
Morrison to appear as he had recently collaborated with Donegan, but the
pompous hat-wearing oaf laid a "It's them or me" ultimatim which the
organisers thankfully ignored.

most punk song...

its gotta be richard hell and the voidoids surely!!!

Blank Generation or something off that LP.

its all bloody brilliant.

also the most punk aspect is that it was all over as
soon as it had begun. no reunion tours. no greatest
hits lp's.

Small bit about it in this months uncut which also has
an excellent Van Morrison interview. Zero bullshit
with that guy.
