PEEL BIOGRAPHY PULPED OVER LIBEL FEARS

An unauthorised biography of late DJ JOHN PEEL has been withdrawn 
from sale after a third party complained it libelled them.

Author MICK WALL's book JOHN PEEL was published in November (04) less 
than a month after the legendary British radio presenter died from a 
heart attack, while holidaying in Peru.

A spokesperson for Wall's ORION PUBLISHING house has confirmed the 
tome has been taken off shelves but otherwise refused to comment.

TRANSWORLD PUBLISHING bought Peel's official memoirs in 2003 and 
suspect Wall's unofficial book may have contained inaccuracies 
because it was rush-released, to cash in on Peel's demise.

Transworld publisher PATRICK JANSON-SMITH says, "Unlike those 
ambulance-chasers at Orion, we have some sense and decency."
