Yes, I can see how prog was such a major influence on "Modern Music" - 
Overblown, pompous, pretentious - and that's just the haircuts - Long twiddly guitar 
solos, dull triple concept albums, Tolkeinesque (YAWN)  sci-fi gatefold 
sleeves - Cigarette lighters in the air - Thank god punk came along and threw up 
all over it!

PS I think that's the first time Peel has ever been accused of ignorance 
regarding any genre of music!
