Peel book

I must confess to have been tempted to buy one of these books, just
in case there may have been some unknown or forgotten gems.
However, my mind was made up for me when I picked up the Mick Wall
book off the self at local bookshop.
It consisted of 194 pages of fairly large print.
The bits I read, were what most of us knew already plus tributes
which we've probably all read, photos which we've all seen. This was
then padded out with page after page of festive 50 lists.
I don't think I'll ever be asked to go on the Booker Award Panel.
Then again this book is unlikely to win any awards either.
Except maybe a contender for the "Fast Buck" award.
Phil
