Hi all,

Magic Dirt are one of Australia's finest rock exports and have a
reputation for impassioned and energetic live performances. Spanning a
career of almost 10 years, Magic Dirt have rocked our souls with their
infectious blend of power and pop sensibility and beautiful melodies to
down right loud rock n roll with searing guitars and thumping bass
lines over ridden with Adalitas passionate and hypnotic lyrics.

After their first UK tour in 1997 (cut short by illness) which yeilded a
Peel Session which was broadcast in December that year (Does anyone have
a copy of this??), Magic Dirt are about to embark on their second UK
Tour, and I urge everyone to catch them:

2 June 2002 - (FIERCE FESTIVAL) Brockwell Park, London, UK
6 June 2002 - Mean Fiddler, London, UK
10 June 2002 - Bristol, Fleece & Firkin, UK
11 June 2002 - Wolverhampton, Wulfrun, UK
12 June 2002 - Portsmouth, Wedgewood Rooms, UK

Magic Dirt's 3rd album,'What Are Rock Stars Doing Today' is being
released in the UK and Europe on May 27th 2002. It is being released on
Sweet Nothing/Cargo. The UK version is going to be different to the
Australian version of the album, and will feature an special bonus disc.
