Andy Kershaw on Radio 3 last night said (I'm paraphrasing!)

Bristol is getting to be a very hippie place, I met this guy
out the back who said 'You know all these bank holidays we get in
the spring'     I said 'yes'.   He said 'There ought to be one
for John Peel's birthday.   I didn't tell him Peel's birthday was
in August but now I come to think of it Peel is the new Queen Mum!
