I do like the idea that, to the BBC, the airing of Peel's show often constitutes some sort of "emergency."

Peel's World Service show started back up last night after yet another month ot two hiatus; wish I knew what was going on there. He sounded a bit formal with a slightly slower delivery and slightly forced cheerfullness. Who knows what sort of demands the World Service suis make on him. Still, music was great, esp a cut from The Bugs from the Isle Of Wight... a must have.

It's on at 4:05AM for most of you....!
