  Was it Solex that did the "Teenage Kicks" track for Peel?
  Excellent stuff.
  Yes it was. I was listening to my tapes of Peel's birthday party only today.
  In fact all of the "surprise sessions(covers) were great,  especially Yo La Tengo's "It takes a lot to laugh, it takes a train to cry"
  & Broken Dog's "The night they drive 'ol Dixie Down"
