Festive Fifty/Elton John

I've been taping the FF's since mid '80's and I distinctly remember J.P.
doing a session of Elton John playing a pub piano in 1985.
Even though I don't like the bespectacled piano player,  I've got a tape of Elton John, when he did a stint as a D.J. on Radio 1 at Easter approx. 1974, entitled EJ the DJ. At the time he played some pretty cool stuff:-
Edgar Winter
B.B.King
Early Jefferson Starship
Early Joe Walsh
Early Bobby Womack
Bobby Bland
You've got to realise,  that for 1974,  this was pretty cool.
