I imagine that 2nd hand shops are your only chance. It was the Would
Be's debut single, I believe, released on Decoy (DYS 13T). The band
were from Dublin, I think, fairly young, and were patronised both by
Peel and Morrissey (no surprise really).
I think they only managed three singles before disappearing, and the
singer on the "I'm Hardly Ever Wrong" had left before the follow-up.
That hasn't helped, I'm sure.
As for Fall recommendations, you'll get a different selection from
just about every Fall fan going. As a suggestion relevant to this
list, I'd say that "The Peel Sessions" CD released last year would be
a good starting point, as you get a small sample of each stage in
their whole career. And the version of "Smile" on there is
unsurpassable.
