Replying to everything at once...
>Anarchy in the UK, Love Will tear Us Apart, Atmosphere, Blue Monday, Teenage
>Kicks, Smells Like Teen Spirit, White Man in Hammersmith Palais, Eat yself
>Fitter, Song 2 and There is a Light that Never Goes Out...
With that apart from the lack of 'How Soon is Now', possibly something
replacing 'Song 2'? Hope so!
Also, I would have thought the top MBV track would be 'You Made Me
Realise'. But what do I know?
'Geek Love' fans not listening any more? Or have they not mastered email yet?

>Controversial maybe, but can John Peel justifiably moan about
>conservatism in the F50 when the Peelennium 2000 contained New Order
>and Cinerama?
I can't think of much more conservative than New Order...

>b) Ivor Cutler - GENIUS...but can you think of ONE standout track to pick on?
Narrowing it down to music rather than spoken word stuff, "Wooden Tree"
does it for me every time.

I'd personally be delighted but astonished if Public Enemy were in the top
10. And I'd be horrified if Prince made it, his appearance in a F50 in the
past was for me a bigger insult to the memory of Bogshed than the Beach
Boys and Beatles appearing in this one.
But, hey, if we all liked the same things...
