strange that this has wound up on the peel list after being a recent subject
on both uk radio and bothsidesnow...

no-one listens to peel for dexterity at the microphone, anymore than anyone
listens to crash fm for any reason at all...

i think most stations have failed to realise that if its all too perfect,
you lose nay sense of the presenter - peel is the exact opposite of that

it was so nice to hear a voice out over the end of buffy last week on sky
where they'd left in an off the cuff comment made by the continuity
