Crooked Rain is a great, interesting pop album and I recommend it highly.
However, Slanted and Enchanted is also very good, a bit more raw, and it has
my favorite Pavement song, "Here."  Get both of them!

I was a big fan of Brighten the Corners, which is a lot like the last
one in many ways, but longtime Pavement fans will tell you to get
Slanted and Enchanted, Crooked Rain or Wowee Zowee. Lots of help I am.
