I can see the point though, it's like an opportunity that can't be missed
(or something) to cover all the music of the last 100 years/2000 years/all
time. However, I'm sure many of us recall that whenever he ran parallel
50's before there was no chance at all of something from this year getting
into the all-time chart as everyone's nature says 'get 6, not 4 or 5, of
your favourites on the list'. That might not be a bad thing as when it was
'all-time- charts in the past they were full of stuff from the current
year, but neither is representative.
But I stilll think it would be interesting to see how much we've gone away
(if at all) from the Atmosphere vs. Anarchy battles of the early 80's.
Doesn't anyone think the Peelennium's improved vastly since we got to the
60's? Arnold Lane last night!
